Tropical Shipping announced as official title sponsor for Drag Wars 2 in Guyana

The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) is pleased to announce that Tropical Shipping, a leading shipping company, has been named the official title sponsor for Drag Wars 2, the highly anticipated drag racing event in Guyana. As part of their support, Tropical Shipping has generously shipped five high-performance drag cars from Trinidad and Tobago to Guyana, adding an international flair to the competition. Suriname, a neighboring country known for its vibrant Drag Racing scene, will also be well-represented at Tropical Shipping Drag Wars 2. Over 25 cars from Suriname will participate in the event, showcasing their talent and bringing fierce competition to the track. The collaboration between Guyana and Suriname will foster friendly rivalries and further solidify the regional motorsport community.

Moreover, Drag Wars 2 will feature the top drag racing teams from Guyana, who will be eager to defend their home turf. These skilled drivers and their powerful machines will push the boundaries of speed and precision, thrilling spectators with their adrenaline-fueled performances. Team Mohamed’s vs Team Daby’s newly acquired drag car will be one of the main attractions on race day.
