Dylan Singh vs Matthew Vieira: Superbike Showdown Set for South Dakota

The highly anticipated opening round of the GMRSC Circuit Championship is set to deliver a thrilling Superbike A Class showdown this Sunday, as Guyana’s top rider, Matthew Vieira faces off against 19-year-old Dylan Singh, an emerging talent from the United States.

Dylan Singh, originally from New Jersey, grew up racing at the renowned New Jersey Motorsports Park, where he spent his formative years developing his skills as a junior racer. His competitive resume includes multiple appearances in CCS/ASRA events as an Expert, and most notably, a season in the MotoAmerica Junior Cup aboard a Kawasaki ZX-4, alongside competing in two Supersport classes as an Expert. Singh now brings his experience and determination to Guyana, riding a platform similar to his U.S. setup, with his sights firmly set on capturing the A Class Championship.

However, Singh faces the towering challenge of Matthew Vieira, a rider widely regarded as the best in Guyana and the Caribbean. With multiple championships to his name, Vieira has long proven his dominance in the region, combining expert racecraft with unwavering focus.

Speaking ahead of the race, Vieira acknowledged the attention surrounding the matchup but remained confident in his position.
 “I know the target is on my back,” Vieira said. “Singh came in November 2023 with a lot of hype, and he didn’t trouble me then. I’m confident I’ll come out on top again this Sunday.”

Despite the competitive atmosphere, Dylan Singh expressed gratitude for the opportunity to race in Guyana.
 “I’m just happy to be riding in Guyana on my machine,” Singh shared. “Racing requires a lot of concentration, so I’ll avoid distractions and focus on finishing first.”

Vieira, on the other hand, remains the benchmark.
 “If I’m running first, then that’s the man to beat,” he stated firmly, reinforcing his status as the rider to watch.

With both competitors ready and determined, this Sunday’s race at the South Dakota Circuit promises to be one of the most exciting battles of the championship season.
