November is set to be a historic month for the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMRSC), as it becomes the first time the entire month will be dedicated to motorsport. The international Circuit Race and Drag Race will both take center stage, marking a significant milestone in the history of racing in Guyana.
This year carries even greater significance as GMRSC celebrates 70 years of motorsport in Guyana. Established in 1955, the club stands among the oldest and most prestigious sporting organizations in Guyana and across the Caribbean, with a proud legacy of fostering champions and bringing international racing to local fans.
The timing could not be more perfect, as November is also celebrated as Tourism Month, and motorsport is poised to play a pivotal role in positioning Guyana as a hub for sports tourism in the years to come. With thousands of spectators and international participation, the events are expected to inject new energy into the tourism sector while showcasing Guyana’s motorsport heritage.

On November 2nd, all eyes will be on the Caribbean Clash of Champions at the South Dakota Circuit. This premier international circuit race will see competitors from across the Caribbean, Europe, and the Americas, all vying for glory and records on the track, showcasing the global appeal of Guyana’s motorsport events.
Then, on November 30th, the engines will roar again at the Drag Wars, closing the month with blistering quarter-mile action. This will be the final round for both the Circuit and Drag Racing Championships locally, where the 2025 champions will be officially crowned.

Together, these two mega-events will not only attract top-tier competitors but also cement November as the ultimate celebration of speed, adrenaline, and Caribbean unity through motorsport.
In its 70th year, GMRSC is proving once again why November belongs to motorsport and why Guyana is leading the charge.
